Majestic Theater 2024-2025 Season Auditions for multiple shows are coming up.
Majestic Theater is holding open auditions for both union and non-union actors next month. They are holding a general open call for their 2024 / 2025 season which is comprised of multiple shows. The Majestic Theater is located at 131 Elm Street in West Springfield.

Here is the list of the shows they are holding auditions for:
“Shear Madness” – A hilarious whodunit comedy where the audience gets to solve the crime along with the characters.
1st Rehearsal: August 19, 2024
Runs: September 5 to October 20, 2024
“A Moon for the Misbegotten” – A poignant drama by Eugene O’Neill exploring themes of love, forgiveness, and redemption.
1st Rehearsal: October 7, 2024 – Runs: October 24 to December 1, 2024

“Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help” – A gripping mystery thriller set in a small town, delving into secrets buried deep within a community.
1st Rehearsal: December 19, 2024 – Runs: January 9 to February 16, 2025

“Fences” – A powerful drama by August Wilson depicting the struggles of an African American family in the 1950s.
1st Rehearsal: February 10, 2025 – Runs: February 27 to April 6, 2025
“Waitress” – A heartwarming musical adaptation of the hit film, following the journey of a waitress with big dreams and the challenges she faces in pursuit of them.
1st Rehearsal: March 24, 2025 – Runs: April 17 to June 1, 2025

Preparation:
Please note that there will only be an accompanist provided on June 10 & 11. If you are scheduled on 6/3, 6/4, 6/12, 6/13, 6/15, please bring a track to be connected via bluetooth speaker provided by the theater.Actors should be prepared to read from the script(s). Sides will be provided.
If this is your first time auditioning with us, please prepare a brief, contemporary monologue.
If auditioning for the musical, please prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theater song.
Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together, if you have them; photos will be taken at the theater as well.
