About the Play: Romeo and Juliet, one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved tragedies, tells the tale of two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families. It is a timeless story of love, conflict, and fate that continues to resonate with audiences.

Winters is west of the Sacramento area in Yolo County.
Located in downtown Winters, the Winters Opera House is a historic venue known for its charm and cultural significance. Previously home to the renowned Palms Playhouse, this delightful theater is situated between the Putah Creek Cafe and the Berryessa Gap Vineyards tasting room.
FYI, the theater company is also seeking a director for the 2025 season.
