Casting call for the Paramount+ TV series “Lioness” in Weatherford TX.
The show’s extras casting team is looking to fill some small, non-speaking, paid roles in the Paramount+ series. The new season of the series is filming scenes in the Weatherford TX area which is west of Fort Worth, Texas.
This is a series created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, 1923) who is also filming other shows in Texas. Some of those also have casting calls out for extras. Taylor Sheridan, wrote the first season of episodes and is also said to have written the episodes for season 2.

The Paramount+ show “Lioness” boasts a star-studded cast, including Zoe Saldaña, who leads as Joe, the CIA agent balancing her dual lives. Laysla De Oliveira stars as Cruz, the undercover operative working closely with Joe. The ensemble cast also includes Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.
“Lioness” was first announced in September 2020 as part of a Paramount+ Original programming slate. The series received a renewal for a second season in May 2024.

“Lioness” follows Joe, who strives to juggle her personal and professional life while serving as the forefront of the CIA’s counter-terrorism efforts. The Lioness Program recruits Cruz to work undercover with Joe, infiltrating the circles of influential figures in state-sponsored terrorism. The show is an action drama and spy thriller created by Taylor Sheridan, with music composed by Andrew Lockington.
It airs on Paramount+ and is produced by Bosque Ranch Productions, Cinestar, Blossom Films, 101 Studios, and MTV Entertainment Studios.
