An independent movie is coming to Ohio to film.
The indie film, currently titled “Slay” is described as a comedy / horror flick in which a group of teens (why is it always teens?) gets targeted by a killer. Actually, the short description states that the movie is along the lines of Clueless meeting Scream. Actually, if their current poster is any indication of the comedic aspect of the film… one would guess that this movie is far more on the comedy side than the horror side. It really is a great poster that makes me want to see it already…and filming hasn’t even begun.
The IMDB description reads as follows: After a booking mistake, four drag queens find themselves performing for a mostly unwelcoming crowd, but when vampires attack, the crowd looks to the queens to save the day.
“Slay” will be filming in the Ohio area this June and all roles are paid. Oddly, the listed pay on this independent project is higher than the other, non indie, massive budget, productions, such as the new Superman movie, which are also filming in the same area this summer.
