Urgent Casting Call: Chinese Male Actors (60-80 Years Old, Fluent in Mandarin) – Paid Opportunity

We are currently seeking Chinese male actors, ages 60-80, fluent in Mandarin, for an upcoming student film project. Acting experience is preferred but not required.

Project Details:

  • Title: Topspin
  • Union Status: Union/Non-Union (SAG Student Film Agreement)
  • Shooting Dates: October 18-20 and October 25-27, 2024
  • Rate: $125/day, plus copy, credit, and meals
  • Location: Los Angeles/Orange County

Role:

  • [Grandpa] – Aged 60-80, Chinese descent, fluent in Mandarin. Grandpa is the heart of the family, always perceptive and a natural comedian. He’s a father figure to Max and the glue that holds everyone together. This is a supporting role.
