- Age: 12-17
- Description: Thoughtful, introspective, and a bit reserved, Carol holds a quiet strength and optimism. She shares a deep connection with her grandfather, which helps her navigate her family’s challenges. Strong singing ability required.
- Grandpa
- Age: 60s
- Description: Carol’s wise and warm grandfather, who is her mentor and source of encouragement. Through kite flying, he teaches Carol valuable lessons about life and resilience. Singing ability preferred.
- Marie
- Age: 40s
- Description: Carol’s pragmatic mother, often under stress due to financial and marital struggles. She wants the best for her daughter but struggles to connect with her. Singing ability not required.
- William
- Age: 40s
- Description: Carol’s father, a writer wrestling with his career ambitions. He cares about his family but feels constrained by life’s demands. Singing ability not required.
Compensation: Non-paid. However, meals, IMDb credit, film copy, and shared festival award recognition will be provided.
