Local talent has an opportunity to take center stage at Wisconsin Herd games this season by performing the national anthem.
The Wisconsin Herd, the G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will be hosting open auditions for singers and musicians later this month, offering them a chance to showcase their skills in front of thousands of basketball fans.
Auditions will take place at the Oshkosh Arena on October 20 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Singers and musicians of all ages are encouraged to participate, but those under 18 must have the permission of a legal guardian to audition.

Performers can register online ahead of time or sign up on-site at the event. Audition spots will be assigned in the order in which participants arrive, so it’s recommended to come early for the best chance to audition.
About the Auditions:
The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, is inviting singers and musicians of all genres to audition for the opportunity to perform the national anthem at Herd home games during the 2024-25 season. Open call auditions will be held at Oshkosh Arena on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Candidates can register online or on-site and will audition in the order in which they arrive. Performers are only required to audition once.
National Anthem Tryouts
Auditions are open to singers and musicians of all ages, however, individuals under the age of 18 will need permission from a legal guardian. Those auditioning must perform the national anthem in its entirety to be considered. The Canadian national anthem can also be performed. –Wisconsin Herd.
