Casting Call: Miami – Falabella “Navidad 2024” Commercial

Note: On the wardrobe fitting day, musicians and singers will rehearse the song. Out-of-town talent must be willing to work as locals, as there will be no travel expenses covered.
Falabella, a popular department store, is casting for “lifestyle” talent to feature in their upcoming holiday commercial.
Casting Breakdown:
1. Musicians (4 males)
- Age Range: 18 to 50 years old
- Ethnicity: All ethnicities, including Hispanic, fair-skinned individuals, brunettes, and those of African descent
- Instruments Needed: Synthesizer, bass, electric guitar, and percussion (no drums or brass instruments)
- Special Requirement: Musicians must provide their own instruments.
- Looking for engaging, high-energy performers who can sync with the commercial’s festive song.
2. Female Background Singers (2)
- Age Range: 18 to 40 years old
- Ethnicity: All ethnicities
- Experience: Can range from amateur singers who enjoy singing to professionals
- Must be able to sing the chorus along with Chayanne and bring the lyrics to life with energy and joy.
3. Kids (5 boys and girls)
- Age Range: 6 to 8 years old
- Ethnicity: All ethnicities
- Personality: Seeking children with charm, lively expressions, and the ability to show joy, surprise, and excitement. They will sing, dance, and perform with high energy to capture the festive holiday spirit.
- Must be able to sing or lip-sync the chorus.
Self-Tape Instructions:
- Film Orientation: Record your audition horizontally using a camera or smartphone.
- Sound & Lighting: Ensure no background noise and use good lighting for clarity.
- Slate:
- Face the camera and introduce yourself with your name, age, and city (e.g., “Diana, Miami Talent”)
- Show both left and right profiles, followed by both sides of your hands.
- Performance:
- Musicians: Play your instrument in sync with the provided commercial song, showing joy and positive energy.
- Singers: Perform the chorus with Chayanne, keeping high energy throughout the performance.
- Kids: Dance and express different emotions like joy, surprise, and excitement. If you can’t speak Spanish, lip-sync the chorus instead.
