Live in Ohio? You can get cast in a small role on the upcoming Superman: Legacy feature film.
The iconic superhero Superman is heading your way as filming for the latest installment, “Superman: Legacy,” gears up in the Buckeye State.
The regional film office FilmToledo as well as Toledo Talent have announced the upcoming production. DC’s new Superman movie is also filming in Georgia this spring/summer and you can find the information about the Georgia part of the Superman production and the Georgia casting calls here.
If you’ve ever dreamed of being part of the action-packed world of comic book superhero movies, now’s your chance – that is, if you call Ohio home. “Superman: Legacy” is currently in production in Georgia, but this summer, the production crew will be bringing the excitement to Ohio. They’re on the lookout for Cleveland locals as well as locals to Cincinnati interested in snagging some paid roles as movie extras. Superman: Legacy will be filming in both Cincinnati and Cleveland areas this summer.

Starting in May and continuing through the summer months, the film will be looking for residents eager to join the cast as background actors. It’s an opportunity to earn some extra income while being part of the cinematic magic of Superman: Legacy.
Filming dates:
- Cleveland Shoot Dates: June 17th – July 16th
- Cincinnati Shoot Dates: July 17th – July 18th
The movie has unveiled a star-studded lineup of characters, featuring Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, and David Corenswet as the beloved Clark Kent/Superman. Other notable cast members include Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and the rumored Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl.
New Superman Movie Casting Call for Extras in Georgia
According to FilmToledo, Angela Boehm Casting will be casting Stand-Ins and Extras for the Feature Film ‘GENESIS’ in Cleveland.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY We are receiving many questions about ‘Genesis’ coming to Cleveland and Cincinnati. ALL of the information below is incredibly important, so please take your time reading. Read through a few times before you fill out the form to submit for work on this project.
- Project: ‘Genesis’ – A Warner Brothers Feature Film
- Cleveland Shoot Dates: June 17th – July 16th
- Cincinnati Shoot Dates: July 17th – July 18th
- Background Rate: $12/hour with a guarantee of 8 hours $96/8
Filming days are often 12-14 hours long, but you will still be compensated if you are let out before 8 hours. Overtime pay begins after 8 hours.
- Stand-In Rate: $13/hour with a guarantee of 8 hours ($104/8).
We will be looking for stand ins for several cast. If you are interested in stand in work, please see the link below- (Note: must have extreme flexibility for these parts) Our stand-ins will be working with our director and main cast. You must be professional and be willing to interview with production for this position if needed. Overtime pay begins after 8 hours.
