The upcoming season of a popular show “1923” is in production Austin, Texas and some surrounding areas.
Local residents have the opportunity to land a paid role as an extra, featured extra and a few other small, but paid roles on set. Legacy Casting is actively seeking individuals to fill various small, non-speaking roles.
1923 is a drama series created by Taylor Sheridan, serving as a prequel to the hit show Yellowstone. Set in the early 20th century, the series delves into the lives of the Dutton family as they navigate the challenges of the American West during a period of great upheaval. Furthermore, this Paramount+ show explores the aftermath of World War I, the Prohibition era, and the Great Depression, all of which impact the Duttons and their ranch.
Paramount’s Yellowstone Prequel “1923” Casting Call Austin
Paramount+’s “1923” stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as the family patriarch and matriarch. 1923 captures the harsh realities of life during this transformative period in American history. While, “1923” is set in the rugged Montana landscape, the show actually is filming in Texas.
This is one of a few Taylor Sheridan shows that are filming in Texas this month. Those shows include the new season of “1923,” “Lioness” and another western themed series called “landman.”

We’re still seeking Native American Boys roughly 11-17 yr olds, to work in Bartlett, TX Wed 08/21 and Fri 08/23.
These are cool possibly featured roles, and will be a lot of fun to be part of. This is for the tv show 1923 S2.
