The Derby Recreation Commission, in Derby Kansas, recently opened up registration for auditions in its annual Sing Off competition.
The Derby Recreation Commission is thrilled to announce the return of its much-anticipated Annual Sing Off Competition! This event, set to showcase local talent, has become a cornerstone of the community’s cultural calendar, drawing aspiring singers from all walks of life to compete for the coveted title.
The Sing Off Competition is open to participants of all ages and musical styles. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a passionate amateur, this is your chance to shine on stage and share your voice with the community. The competition is designed to highlight the diverse musical talents within our community, from pop and rock to classical and jazz.
Singers wanting to audition must reserve a timeslot. Auditions take place at The Hubbard Arts Center (309 N Woodlawn Blvd.)
Auditions will be held Aug. 27 in The Cove recording studio at the Hubbard Arts Center (309 N. Woodlawn Blvd.), with sign up now live at www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4DADAA2AA7FBC34-50186063-sing#/.
You will receive a follow up email within 2 business days with more info. Top 10 finalists will be contacted the day after auditions and perform live at The Sing Off at Madison Ave Park on Sept 19th at 6:00pm.
Top 10 finalists from auditions will perform as part of The Sing Off at the Third Thursday event Sept. 19 at Madison Avenue Central Park starting at 6 p.m.
