Tehachapi Community Theatre holding Auditions:
The theater will be producing “Death Trap.”
Successful Broadway thriller writer, Sidney Bruhl, is faced with writer’s block that he can’t seem to overcome. In “Deathtrap, washed-up playwright Sidney Bruhl discovers a script he’d go to great lengths to obtain, by great lengths, he means he would even commit a murder to get it. Having not penned a hit play in 18 years, Sidney receives a promising manuscript from his former student, Clifford Anderson. Encouraged by his wife, Myra, Sidney jests about the idea of murdering Clifford to claim the script as his own. However, when Clifford unexpectedly arrives later that evening, the unfolding events take a dark and unpredictable turn.
