Toledo Opera Now Accepting Applications for 2025-26 Resident Artists Program
The Toledo Opera is seeking talented performers to join its esteemed Resident Artists program for the 2025-26 season. Open positions include soprano, mezzo-soprano, bass/baritone, and pianist, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization’s mission of education and cultural enrichment.
Since its inception in 1985, the Resident Artists program has been a cornerstone of Toledo Opera’s outreach efforts, entertaining and educating approximately 22,000 students annually. Through its Opera on Wheels initiative, Resident Artists tour extensively, performing live opera at schools, libraries, and community venues throughout the region—from Findlay to Ann Arbor and Sandusky to Archbold.
“For Toledo Opera, our Resident Artist program is a cornerstone of our mission,” said General Director James Norman. “It nurtures emerging operatic talent while serving as a vital bridge to the community. These artists inspire the next generation of opera lovers and performers, enriching the cultural fabric of our region.”
