CASTING: Adults & Teens with Non-Segmental Vitiligo.
Are you a teen or adult with Vitiligo? If so, there is a nationwide casting notice out for people who may want to share their stories. While it’s not clear if this is for a commercial, web series or a documentary, the production company is searching in the United States and Canada for those affected by the disease and would like to talk about their own journey. Furthermore, this is a paid gig for those who are selected to share their stories.
GENUINE is looking for Adults & Teens who have Non-Segmental Vitiligo to be featured in a video campaign.
Non-segmental vitiligo is the most common form of vitiligo, a skin condition characterized by the loss of pigment in patches. In non-segmental vitiligo, the depigmentation appears symmetrically on both sides of the body, often affecting areas like the face, hands, knees, and elbows. This form of vitiligo is thought to be autoimmune, where the immune system mistakenly attacks melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing skin pigment. Casting Notice:
Those selected will participate in a photo/video shoot and be paid for the filming day plus additional if featured in the final project.
Filming is in early October in Toronto, Canada. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel.
