How Do You Live With a Family That Drives You Crazy?

Ruth Zweigman is not the easiest person to be around. Now, recovering from several surgeries due to diabetes, Ruth can no longer care for herself, and the question of where she will live becomes urgent. Her daughter, Miranda, has worked hard to create a life far removed from the dysfunctional family she grew up with.
However, after a painful loss and a moment of weakness, Miranda decides to invite her difficult mother to stay with her before her son’s bar mitzvah. As more relatives arrive seeking reconnection and second chances, Miranda’s already strained relationships with her family are pushed to their breaking point.
Can they all survive under one roof? This warm, heartfelt comedy explores the scars of childhood, the complexities of family, and the challenges of finding love as an adult.
