Exploring the Origins of Yellowstone: 1923 is filming the new season in Texas.
The new season of the show is filming in the Austin, Texas area this summer and Austin locals who would like to get a small role as a paid extra on set, have a chance to do so. Legacy Casting announced filming in the Austin area and is currently hiring people who would like to work on set to fill various small, non speaking roles. Last week the casting directors announced “We’re going to hit the ground running in the next few weeks!”
If you are interested in landing a small role on the Taylor Sheridan series are able to fill out an online form in order to be considered. However, note you must live in the Austin, Texas area in order to be considered.

Paramount+ series 1923 delves into the early 20th century Mountain West with another chapter in the Yellowstone saga and the previous generation of Duttons, portrayed by Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, and Jerome Flynn.
“1923” is created by Taylor Sheridan, the man behind Paramount+ hit show “Yellowstone.” In the series, the Dutton family confront a turbulent era defined by Western expansion, Prohibition, and the Great Depression. Against the backdrop of evolving landscapes and societal upheavals, that shape their legacy.
This is one of a few Taylor Sheridan projects that is currently in production. He has another show filming in Texas currently called “Landman,” “Landman” has a star studded cast with Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore and Jon Hamm. You can find more info at Paramount+.

1923 is seeking an infant to work 09/20 as a train passenger. We’re also looking for a 5-7 yr old boy to work the same date. Fittings will be this week in Austin. Filming is in Austin as well.
