Synopsis:
FBI Agent Lucas Barker goes undercover as a clumsy bartender at the “Laffy Taffy Comedy Club” to put Detroit’s infamous “Snow Queen”, Carlotta Guivaldi, in the hot seat for her suspicious behavior. Lucas gets put through the ringer day and night and must rely on his untrodden standup skills to get through this secret mission. Can Lucas find success in two industries: criminal justice, and comedy?

Capstone Pictures is associated with Miami University and has previously garnered much recognition for its films including 4 awards from the regional chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and The Rochester International Film Festival. Every year alumni, such as Hollywood Director of Photography, AJ Rickert-Epstein, assist in the production.
CHARACTER LIST
- LUCAS BAKER: Lead/ Male, late 20s. Lucas is an FBI agent who lives comfortably with his skills in forensics, until one day when he is pushed out of his comfort zone going undercover at a comedy club. Lucas must stay on his toes and even try his hand at stand up in order to safeguard the mission. Bad at bartending and talented at stand-up comedy.
- CARLOTTA GUIVALDI: Supporting/ Female, late 30s. Carlotta is a devious and cunning woman who is known in the town for her misdeeds. The “Snow Queen” and seductress is active and funneling money through the Laffy Taffy Comedy Club. Flirty and uses illegal substances.
- FBI CAPTAIN: any gender. Strong willed and a leader, gives Lucas his undercover mission and has friendly relationships with his agents.
- TONY: male. Comedian at the Laffy Taffy Comedy Club. Dry humor that no one else finds funny.
- GUARD 1 & 2: Brooding and somewhat mindless
- GREG: male. Comedian at the Laffy Taffy
