Auditions for “We Are Blood” Commercial – Paid Roles in Austin, TX!
Camlock Films is casting for a non-union commercial titled We Are Blood, shooting in Austin, TX on May 12–13. The project is seeking a diverse group of individuals across multiple roles, encouraging a range of skin tones and body types to apply. This is a paid opportunity, with rates varying by role—from $150/day for background to $500/day for principal characters.
Usage includes 3 years of digital, local broadcast, radio, and out-of-home (OOH), with archival use in perpetuity. Self-tape submissions are due by April 21, with callbacks set for April 30.

Role descriptions: Diverse skin tones & body types encouraged to submit
- JOHN (Male, 60-65): John is retired and spends his days golfing and walking his dog. John is warm-hearted and makes a point to donate blood and volunteer for community service. $500/day.
- KELLY (Female, 23-26): Kelly is blindsided by a near fatal car crash. She makes a full recovery but has a new appreciation for the little moments that make life grand. $500/day.
- PHLEBOTOMIST (Any gender, 35-40): The
Phlebotomist is a calm, steady individual that remembers the regulars and enjoys catching up with them. $300/day. - PARAMEDIC 1 (Any gender, 28-33): Working in the back of the EMS van puts Paramedic 1 in their zone, and they are focused and methodical with everything that they do. $300/day.
- PARAMEDIC 2 (Any gender, 33-36): Paramedic 2 has been working EMS for 7 years and knows exactly what they’re doing. They make the call to give Kelly a blood transfusion on the road to the hospital $300/day.
- DOCTOR (Any gender, 36-40): Caring and patient. doctor to everyone that they see. They are relieved. $300/day.
- HOSPITAL GOER (Any gender, 18-60): Attending a post operation check-in. Everything seems fine. $150/day.
