A casting call for professional wrestlers is now open for an upcoming production filming in North Carolina.
The project is seeking male and female wrestlers, ages 25-40, of all ethnicities, with travel expenses covered. The shoot date is April 24, 2025, with fittings scheduled for April 22-23.
Roles Available:
Hispanic Male Wrestler (Age 30-40)
- Description: A consummate underdog who defies the typical bodybuilder wrestler stereotype. While athletic and strong, he relies more on his intelligence and strategy than brute force.
- Character: Sly and unpredictable, he outsmarts opponents with quick thinking and unexpected moves.
- References: Inspired by late-90s Rey Mysterio, Damien Priest, or Andrade.
- Requirements: This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must be real-life professional wrestlers or athletes capable of performing their own stunts.
Caucasian Female Wrestler (Age 25-40)
- Description: A muscular, athletic competitor with exceptional speed and the ability to deliver powerhouse slams with ease.
- References: Inspired by Candice LeRae in the 2010s.
- Requirements: This is a physically demanding role, requiring professional wrestling or athletic experience with the ability to execute stunts.
African American Male Wrestler (Age 25-35)
- Description: A physically imposing wrestler with broad shoulders, thick arms, and a chiseled, muscular build.
- Character: A natural leader with charisma and showmanship, bringing a bold, flamboyant style to the ring.
- References: Inspired by a late-80s Macho Man Randy Savage or a more flamboyant Jay Lethal.
- Requirements: Candidates must be professional wrestlers or athletes capable of performing their own stunts due to the physically demanding nature of the role.
Compensation:
- $500 per session (rehearsals, fittings, and shoot day)
- $1,000 usage fee
- $500 stunt bump
- $500 per travel day (including hotel and per diem)
- Fight Coordinators: If applicable, an additional Coordinator Fee may be offered for qualified candidates hired in this role.
