Casting Call for Short Film “Black(out)” – Psychological Thriller in Los Angeles and others
Please note that this is a non paid, indie film project.
An new short film titled Black(out) is currently casting in Los Angeles. Produced under the banner of Black Girls Film Camp, this non-union psychological thriller centers around a tech internship assessment that takes a deadly turn. Filming is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025, in the Los Angeles area. While this is an unpaid project, selected cast members will receive meals on set and IMDb credit.
Black Girls Film Camp actually has a variety of films that are all casting now in the Los Angeles area. The full list of indie films that they are casting for may be found on their site. Casting Breakdown – Seeking the Following Roles:
Actors must be able to portray ages 17–19 for the intern participant roles:

Two Black girls (one of whom will be cast as the lead)

One Asian male

Two white males
-
One white girl
-
One Hispanic boy
Additionally, the team is casting one white male, age 30 or older, to play the role of a receptionist.

How to Submit:
Interested actors should visit the website and click the “Submit Now” button to upload a headshot, resume, and contact information. Once submissions are reviewed, selected applicants will receive sides for a self-tape audition.
