Casting Call for Children for Background Roles in Feature Film “Charlie”
A new feature film named “Charlie” is filming the the New York area. The movie is seeking to fill multiple child roles. This is filming on various dates and there are multiple casting notice listed below that were released by GWCI for this film project.
Kid Drummers:
Children (all ethnicities/genders, age 9-11) who can play the drums for the feature film “Charlie”

General casting notice for child extras roles:
Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking children (ages 6-14, all ethnicities) to portray school students for the feature film “Charlie“ (working title). The film is currently in production in the New York City area and is looking for young talent to be a part of the background scenes.
Details:
- Tentative Shoot Dates: Wednesday, March 26th and Thursday, March 27th, 2025 (interior scenes)
- Location: New York City
- SAG-AFTRA Rate: $216 for 8 hours
- Non-SAG-AFTRA Rate: $181.50 for 10 hours

- Child’s name
- Parent/Guardian name
- Parent/Guardian contact phone number
- Is the child a member of SAG-AFTRA (in good standing) or non-union?
- Availability for shoot dates (March 26th and/or March 27th)
- Is the child local to the NYC area?
- Does the child have an unexpired NY performer work permit and trust account set up?
- Child’s height, weight, clothing size, and shoe size
- Attach clear, current photos (full-body and close-up) without filters, hats, or sunglasses
Important Information:
- Height, weight, and clothing sizes are for costuming purposes only.
- All children must have a valid NY State Child Performer Work Permit and trust account to be eligible.
- Children must be able to present valid identification and fill out a Federal 19 form in order to be paid.
