Productions of popular TV shows Chicago PD and Chicago Med are in production for the new 2025 season.
The show generally casts stand ins, photo doubles and extras from in and around the Chicago area.
NBC’s “One Chicago” franchise, featuring “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” and “Chicago P.D.,” continues to film in Chicago, bringing authentic, city-based drama to audiences. A recent casting call has been announced for stand-ins and extras to join the set of “Chicago Fire.”

“Chicago P.D.,” an essential piece of the franchise, premiered in 2014 and centers on the Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department, helmed by the determined Sergeant Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe. Known for its realistic portrayal of crime-solving, the series dives deep into the lives of officers as they face high-stakes cases, complex moral choices, and deeply personal struggles. CHICAGO PD – BACKGROUND CASTING NOTICE:
We are looking for a CAUCASIAN FEMALE, late 40s-early 60s, to play the wife of a character in Episode 12016. You will be needed THIS FRIDAY (January 17th) to come in to take still photos with the actor to be used as family photos, set dressing, etc.
Please make sure you have ALL DAY AVAILABILITY on Friday, since we don’t know what time of day the still photos will happen yet.
