C&J is currently casting for a series of comedic internet videos designed to entertain while promoting environmental awareness. This paid opportunity seeks performers with strong comedic and improvisational skills to bring a variety of quirky characters to life.
Project Details
The campaign will consist of short, humorous sketches that use satire and personality-driven performances to explore environmental topics in a fun and relatable way. Filming is scheduled for May 8, 2025, and all talent must be available on that date.
- Shoot Date: May 8, 2025
- Rate of Pay: $400/per day (this rate includes session and usage fee)
- Location: Charlotte, NC – LOCAL HIRE
- Usage: In perpetuity for digital media and non paid print, including but not limited to YouTube videos and social content.
Casting Breakdown:
BOCA BOB (Male, 70s–80s, white): A larger-than-life personality with exaggerated enthusiasm for global warming—because to him, “hotter is better.” The ideal actor will have strong comedic timing and must be comfortable wearing a speedo. A deep tan (or willingness to use bronzer) is required.
DJ ENVIRO (Male or Female, 18–25, any ethnicity – Asian talent especially encouraged): A DJ with authentic mixing skills who can improvise witty dialogue while performing. This character combines high-energy performance with environmental flair.
ANXIOUS ALICIA (Female, 16–20, all ethnicities): A phone-obsessed teen overwhelmed by college prep, friendships, and the state of the planet. Talent must bring strong comedic instincts and the ability to improvise with neurotic charm.
THE WEAK ENVIRONMENTALIST (Male, 24–27, all ethnicities): A charismatic and passionate advocate for sustainability—until it requires any real effort. This role calls for a performer with sharp comedic delivery and a flair for contradiction.
