Calling all Chicagoland locals! NBC’s hit police procedural, Chicago P.D., is currently filming new episodes for the 2025 season, and they are looking for local talent to work as paid background actors. This is your chance to be part of a major television production that has captivated audiences for years!
About the Show: “Chicago P.D.” is a dynamic spin-off of the popular series Chicago Fire, created by renowned producer Dick Wolf, who also brought the iconic Law & Order franchise to life. The show is part of a larger universe of Chicago-based dramas, including Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and often features crossover episodes with other NBC shows. Each series explores different facets of life and work in the Windy City, providing thrilling storylines and compelling characters.
In Chicago P.D., the elite Intelligence Unit, led by the gritty and determined Sgt. Hank Voight, investigates some of the city’s most complex and high-stakes crimes. From drug trafficking and organized crime to high-profile murders, the team is on the front lines of keeping Chicago safe. The unit, which includes dedicated officers like Kim Burgess, Kevin Atwater, Adam Ruzek, Trudy Platt, Jay Halstead, and Hailey Upton, works tirelessly to uncover the truth and serve justice. However, with an ever-evolving criminal justice system and increasing sociopolitical tensions, Sgt. Role: We are looking for a MALE, ANY ETHNICITY, AGES 30s-50s, who would be comfortable wearing a wetsuit and scuba gear. YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERING THE WATER AT ALL. You’ll be seen on land, removing the gear as if you were recently in the water.
This suit is very form fitting, so it’s important you provide accurate sizes and only submit if you match the stats:

Role: We are looking for people with banger / tricked out / street cars for a scene. Examples include the Charger, Challenger, Range Rover, Caddy, Impala, blacked out cars, tinted windows, cars with big rims, etc.
We’re not looking for everyday type vehicles – these have to stand out among other cars.
No red or white vehicles, please.
Filming date: Tuesday 2/25
Pay: $129.60/8 + $35 auto bump
Subject line: FALLEN STAR
Role: We are looking for an AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE, ROUGHLY 21 YEARS OLD, TALLER THAN 6’0″ for a 2-day booking.
You will be taking social media type photos in a club to look like you’re partying with your friends, and you’ll have an on-camera day where you’re a victim (dead).
Must be comfortable with SPFX makeup and blood, and laying on the floor for an extended period of time.
Please make sure to send GOOD QUALITY photos, since this is a director-selected role. No hats, no sunglasses, must be taken against a plain background, no one else in the photo, no filters. Photo must accurately represent your current hairstyle and any facial hair. If you do not look like your photos when you come for a wardrobe fitting, you may be asked to change your look to match your submission photo, or risk losing the booking.

Role: We are looking for a MIDDLE EASTERN/INDIAN MALE, 60s, to play a victim of a crime at a jewelry store.
Must be comfortable with SPFX makeup and blood, and laying on the floor for an extended period of time.

Chicago PD – General Availability Form & Featured Roles.

We’re collecting submissions for Episode 1219 of Chicago PD.
This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, ethnicity, ages 9 and older. We ARE looking for a few minors this episode, ages 9-12. Pay for minors is $160/8.
General background roles pay $129.60/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. No red or white vehicles, please.
