New Project Background Casting for “Golden Gai” Web Series
Background casting is now underway for the 6-episode branded content web series “Golden Gai“, which will begin filming in Los Angeles, CA on March 3rd. The project will take place in the North Hollywood area, and the team is looking to cast both SAG-AFTRA & Non-Union background actors, as well as stand-ins.
Los Angeles-based talent is encouraged to get involved! To be considered for this and future projects, talent should ensure their On Location Casting (OLC) profile is up to date.

Shoot Location: LOS ANGELES, CA (NORTH HOLLYWOOD area)
–MUST be able to work in the NORTH HOLLYWOOD area as a LOCAL HIRE!! (Transportation/Accommodation will not be provided)
UNION: SAG-AFTRA
PAY Rate: $162.00 for up to an 8 hour day. OT after 8 hours.
DATE NEEDED: (*see specific role)
–we do NOT yet have Call/Wrap times, so you should have FULL day available to allow for whatever the Call Time ends up being. You should be prepared to be available no matter what the start/end times end up being

[INFLUENCER’S ASSISTANT] SAG/AFTRA – Female, all ethnicities, age range 20s, attractive, confident, hip, stylish. WORKS on Friday 3/7
[BUSINESSMAN] SAG/AFTRA – Male, White, age range 40s-50s, upscale, professional, conservative, MUST have your own professional looking business suits. WORKS on Monday 3/10 -AND- Wednesday 3/12 – MUST be available BOTH dates.
[JAPANESE BAR PATRONS] SAG/AFTRA – Male and Female, able to portray Japanese, age range 21-65, variety of types with interesting character faces. WORKS on Thursday 3/13
[JAPANESE BAR BARTENDER] SAG/AFTRA – Male or Female, able to portray Japanese, age range 50+, interesting character face who look like they might have been working at this bar for 30+ years, bartending skills helpful but not required. WORKS on Thursday 3/13
[BAR REGULARS PATRONS] SAG/AFTRA – Male and Female, age range 30-65, variety of types with interesting faces. WORKS on either Monday 3/3, Tuesday 3/4 or Wednesday 3/5 (specify which dates you are able to work – may only work 1 or possibly more of the dates listed)
