The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota invites singers of all ages to participate in 2025 / mid-season auditions for both the Legacy Chorale and the Legacy Youth Chorale. Auditions will take place January 9-12, 2025, at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.
About the Legacy Chorale’s Spring Program: Minnesota Sings
This season’s program celebrates Minnesota’s vibrant choral heritage, featuring works by esteemed Minnesota composers. From timeless pieces rooted in the Christiansen tradition to innovative new scores, the repertoire will highlight the depth of Minnesota’s musical legacy.

- April 27: Pequot Lakes and Brainerd

About the Legacy Youth Chorale’s Spring Program: There is Peace
This year’s Youth Chorale program embraces folk music from around the globe, celebrating unity and community through diverse languages and styles. Highlights include:
- Collaborations with the Legacy Chorale and choirs from Rippleside Elementary and Aitkin High School.
- A concluding Student Showcase Event at Central Lakes College, featuring solo, small group, and full choir performances by Youth Chorale members.
- Performance Dates:
- April 24 and April 27
Who Can Audition?
- Legacy Chorale: Adults of all ages and high school singers (grades 11-12).
- Legacy Youth Chorale: Singers in grades 3-10.

Legacy Chorale (Adults and Grades 11-12):
- Thursday, January 9: 6:30-8:30 PM
- Friday, January 10: 6:30-8:30 PM
- Saturday, January 11: 1:00-3:00 PM
Legacy Youth Chorale (Grades 3-10):
- Saturday, January 11: 10:00 AM-Noon
- Sunday, January 12: 1:00-4:00 PM
- Rehearsals: Sunday evenings in Brainerd
