Be part of the upcoming feature film “By Any Means” starring Mark Wahlberg! A new movie is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia this spring.
On Location Casting is currently seeking featured background actors for a powerful, historically significant story set in the 1960s. Filming will take place in the Atlanta, GA area (potentially Covington) from April 14 – May 24, 2025.
Director Elegance Bratton (The Inspection) is at the helm of By Any Means, a gripping true-crime thriller starring Oscar nominees Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter) and Sterling K. Brown (American Fiction). The film is a collaboration between Hammerstone Studios, Thunder Road, Freedom Principle, and North.Five.Six.
Based on the Black List script CI34 by Sascha Penn and Theodore Witcher, By Any Means explores a powerful and complex story set in 1966 Mississippi. According to the IMDB description, the film follows “a notorious mafia hitman and a young Black FBI agent who team up to investigate the murders of civil rights leaders.”

This is a non-union opportunity, and local hires only (no travel or accommodations provided). Some roles will require a flexible schedule for multiple shoot days.

NOW CASTING FEATURED BACKGROUND ACTORS IN ATLANTA, GA!
ROLE: FEATURED BACKGROUND – “BAD GUYS”
- Male, White, Ages 20-65
- Must have clean-cut, conservative appearance with natural hair color
- No visible tattoos, gauges, or piercings
- Must be willing to be clean-shaven if required
- Will be portraying real-life individuals involved in racist/Klan attacks on a civil rights worker in the 1960s (see reference photos)
- Must be a local hire in Atlanta, GA (potentially Covington area)
DATES & PAY RATES
- Filming Dates: Monday-Friday, April 14 – May 24, 2025 (May work one or multiple dates)
- Filming Rate: $100 for up to 8 hours (plus overtime after 8 hours)
- Fitting Rate: $25 for up to 4 hours (1/4 of the daily pay rate)
- Call times will vary – actors must be available for a full day/evening
