New Peacock Show, The Good Daughter, Extras Call in Atlanta

Casting Call for “The Good Daughter” Series on Peacock

A new show for Peacock is filming in the Atlanta, Georgia area and seeks are locals who would like an opportunity to work on set as paid background actors.

Peacock’s upcoming drama The Good Daughter, based on the novel by Karin Slaughter, has secured a straight-to-series order and will feature Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy in leading roles. Jessica Biel is also set to star and executive produce under her Iron Ocean banner. Slaughter, making her television writing debut, is adapting her own novel for the screen, with Bruna Papandrea executive producing via Made Up Stories.

According to Variety, the series follows Charlotte (Biel) and Samantha Quinn, sisters who have spent nearly three decades attempting to rebuild their lives after a devastating night of violence. When another brutal attack shakes their small town of Pikeville, Charlotte—a lawyer like her father—is the first to arrive at the crime scene. As the case unfolds, she is forced to confront her own traumatic past, leading to shocking revelations that test both sisters in ways they never imagined.

The production is seeking men and women (ages 18 and older) who can authentically portray individuals from an impoverished background. Several recurring roles will depict residents of a mobile home park. Casting is especially interested in unique, character-driven looks.

All ethnicities are encouraged to apply.

Now seeking men and women of all ethnicities, ages 18 and older, for various background roles in an upcoming courthouse scene.

Important Note: Fresh Faces Only
Applicants must not have previously worked on The Good Daughter.
