Bright Star Touring Theatre Announces Casting Call for National Tours

Bright Star Touring Theatre is now accepting submissions from actors of all gender identities for upcoming two-person national tours. The company is especially interested in performers from diverse backgrounds, including Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous actors. Actor-musicians – particularly those who can play guitar or other easily transportable instruments, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Bright Star is seeking strong character actors who are self-motivated, independent, and excited about the opportunity to travel and perform across the country. This is a paid acting opportunity, including compensation during rehearsals. Housing and travel are fully provided throughout the rehearsal period and tour.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Formal acting training

At least 21 years of age

Clean criminal and driving record

Valid driver’s license
In-person auditions will be held at Bright Star’s location in Raleigh, North Carolina. To request an audition time, please contact casting@brightstartheatre.com.
