Paid Acting Job in Philadelphia for Historic Philadelphia

Are you an actor in Philadelphia that would love a paid acting job?

If you do, Historic Philadelphia is now hiring actors.

Historic Philadelphia, Inc. (HPI) is seeking actors, ages 18 and up, from all ethnic backgrounds to join their Once Upon A Nation program as storytellers and costumed historical interpreters. The program brings Philadelphia’s rich history to life, with performers portraying real people and events from the American Revolution and the 18th century at locations such as the historic district and Valley Forge.

Their mission: For 30 years, Historic Philadelphia, Inc. has made our nation’s history relevant, real, and fun by enlivening historic sites through storytelling, interactions, and education.

Auditions:

January 24 and 25.

Looking for more auditions and casting calls in Pennsylvania?

Applicants should have strong acting and improvisational skills, knowledge of 18th-century Philadelphia history, and the ability to work in diverse environments.

This part-time, seasonal work offers training starting in February 2025, with performances from June through October, paying $16-$18 per hour.
