Get on Queer Eye or nominate someone who needs some style help.
Queer Eye is now casting heroes in Washington D.C. and the greater DMV area!
Yep, the show is headed to the capital and they are casting for people that would love a chance to participate. Plus, they are also taking nominations from friends who would like to nominate somebody, who qualifies as a hero, and who really needs some help with style, maybe a makeover, and obviously in need of a queer eye to do so.
The show does exactly what the title says. It offers a makeover for people who may be struggling with their own look, from an LGBTQ community, that actually excels in those areas and offers some expert advise on wardrobe, hair cuts and even home decor. Yep, this is a makeover show.
Calling all Maryland, DC, and Virginia friends – we’re coming to the nation’s capital.
More reality show casting calls and auditions.
The show is a reboot of of the Bravo series from over a decade back, called “Queer eye, for the straight guy.” The reboot sends a team of consultants out to help those style challenged, to transform into the most fabulous version of themselves. That team is called the Fab Five. Furthermore, in case you haven’t seen the show, you don’t actually have to be queer. In fact they prefer that you aren’t.
Queer Eye is a reality makeover series where the “Fab Five” – experts in fashion, grooming, food, culture, and design who are able to transform the lives of deserving individuals by pointing them in the right direction to make them stylish. Through emotional journeys, stylish upgrades, and self-care tips, the show celebrates personal growth, confidence, and acceptance.
So, if you need help from the Fab five, or know somebody who really needs help from the Queer Eye team, applications are open. The show has won plenty of awards (I believe that the series has racked up 9 Emmy awards) and the Fab five have traveled around the world to smack some fashion sense into quite a few people, in various countries…however, they will be coming to the US capital shortly, in order to lend their style expertise to DC residents.
