Indianapolis Colts Drumline “The Herd” Opens 2025 Season Auditions
The Indianapolis Colts have officially opened auditions for The Herd, the team’s electrifying drumline that debuted in 2024. Known for their dynamic performances and high-energy rhythms, The Herd will return to Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2025 NFL season—and they’re looking for passionate, talented percussionists to join their ranks.
About The Herd:
Founded in 2024, The Herd has quickly become a fan favorite, bringing intense rhythms, coordinated routines, and a contagious energy to every Colts home game. With performances both in the stands and on the field in front of 63,000 fans, The Herd plays a central role in amplifying the gameday experience for Colts Nation.
Eligibility:

Must be at least 18 years old by May 1, 2025

Must have received or be on track to receive a high school diploma (or equivalent) by June 1, 2025

Must have reliable transportation to and from Indianapolis on most Sundays from August 2025 through January 2026

Key Dates to Remember:

Tuesday, April 8: Auditions open. Interested candidates should visit Colts.com/Herd to submit their online application and video audition. Detailed video instructions are provided on the site.

Thursday, May 15: Final deadline to submit all audition materials.

Before May 22: Finalists will be notified and invited to participate in live auditions. Selected finalists will be expected to learn The Herd’s full cadence for their specific drumline position.

Sunday, June 1 at 4:00 p.m.: Live auditions will take place at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, home of the Colts’ headquarters.
