Kids in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to audition for Hercules

The Pennyroyal Arts Council invites students in kindergarten through 12th grade to audition for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Hercules. Auditions will take place on Monday, Jan. 27, at Indian Hills Elementary School (434 Koffman Drive) starting at 4 p.m.
The production will feature roles such as Hercules, Zeus, Hera, Helen of Troy, Pegasus, and more, along with opportunities for assistant directors to assist backstage. No prior preparation is required for auditions. Rehearsals will be held daily from Jan. 27 to Jan. 31 at the Alhambra Theatre, with costumes, scenery, and props provided by the Missoula Children’s Theatre.

Auditions:
4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27
Indian Hills Elementary School, 434 Koffman Drive.
Students do not have to prepare for a role before auditions. In addition to the characters, assistant directors will be selected during rehearsals to handle essential backstage responsibilities.
Students should arrive by 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for two hours, with some cast members asked to remain for additional rehearsal time.
Following auditions on Monday, the Missoula Children’s Theatre staff will conduct rehearsals from 4 to 8:30 p.m. each day through Friday, Jan. 31, at the Alhambra. The company provides all of the costumes, scenery and props.
“HERCULES” will be presented to the public at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Alhambra Theatre.
