The UPS Store is currently casting for a TV and internet commercial featuring real small business owners who actively use The UPS Store services.
This opportunity is open to business owners located in Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Salt Lake City, and Nashville who are interested in gaining great exposure for their business while being compensated.
Any Philly, New Orleans, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Nashville or Chicago actors/non-actors have a small business (or do you know of someone who may be interested)? We are seeking Small Business Owners who use The UPS Store for their business! Want some GREAT EXPOSURE for you business and get paid too?
Eligibility Requirements:
Small business owners must:
- Use any of The UPS Store services
- Be within 10 miles of a The UPS Store location
- Have a physical business location (either a home-based business or a brick-and-mortar space)
- Operate in one of the designated cities
The casting team is interested in a wide range of businesses, including but not limited to:
- Construction & Landscaping
- Educational Services (tutoring, schools, daycare)
- Boutique Hotels, Airbnb, VRBO Hosts
- Etsy & eBay Sellers
- Fitness Industry (yoga studios, CrossFit, etc.)
- Event & Wedding Planning
- Real Estate & Home Staging
- Creative Services (artists, makers, art dealers)
- Professional Services (HR, accounting, legal, etc.)
Note: The production team is currently focusing on businesses outside of the food industry, as previous commercials have already highlighted food-related businesses.
Casting Process:
The selection process consists of two steps:
- Initial Submission – Interested business owners must submit a self-taped video or request a recorded Zoom interview.
- Callback Interviews – Those under serious consideration will be invited to a Zoom callback interview on or around March 12 or 13.
As part of the final selection process, participants must agree to a background check.
Compensation:
Selected businesses will receive:
- $1,000 filming fee
- $3,000 usage buyout
- Total compensation: $4,000 (if their likeness or business is used in the final project)
