USC’s School of Cinematic Arts MFA Film Seeks Extras – L.A.

Jenny Kim (USC) – Bury Me in Color

Location: Los Angeles

Audition / Call Type: Extras

USC’s School of Cinematic Arts MFA is casting 15 or more ‘funeral attendees’ and ‘diner customers’ in the Los Angeles area for a dark comedy short called “Bury Me in Color.”

We welcome background talent of all ages, ethnicities, and genders, though we prefer talent who are 30+ in age.

Logline: Polar opposite sisters clash at their mother’s funeral when they can’t agree on what bra to lay her to rest in.

FUNERAL ATTENDEE (15+ extras)
– Sunday, February 23rd (cemetery in Glendale)
– Saturday, March 1st (church in Pasadena)

DINER CUSTOMER (2 to 5 extras)
– Friday, February 21st ()

As a student production, we are not able to pay extras but will be providing meals, credit and copy, as well as warm friendship and connections.

Please be aware that you may need to bring your own costume as a funeral attendee or a diner customer.
