“Independence Day 2“, now rumored to be called, “Independence Day Resurgence” is filming in the Albuquerque area and casting locals to work as paid movie extras next week.
Casting directors for ID 2 are looking for New Mexico locals to fill small, non-speaking background roles in the production. Currently, there is a call out for extras to play area 51 staff and security. The scene will be filming all week (Monday through Friday) of next week and needs local talent that is available for all dates.
